Questions about farming Kilroy
I'm planning to begin farming Kilroy in the morning for the Legendary Survivor title. I just had a few questions, if you guys wouldn't mind.
1. Should I be using Thunderfist's Brass Knuckles even if I can't put 9 into Dagger Mastery for the minimum requirement? Assuming that they were modded, of course.
2. What are the best scrolls to use? Bezerker's, Hunter's, or Slayer's?
3. Is it possible to do with a Mesmer? I've been getting mixed results from my guild. Will my armor be too low to farm efficiently? I'll be taking a quick detour to Marhan's and buying a set of Elite Enchantress before I start.
Thanks in advance for the help! I appreciate it.

1: No- without requirement 9 dagger mastery you will actually do LESS damage than with regular brass knuckles.
2: I would say Berserkers, seeing as how the fighting should be fairly intensive all the way through, although if you could GET to Irontoe before 5 minutes are up, then Slayers by far.
3: Mesmer should be fine- I have no trouble running on my monk, and I think they have the same max armor level.

Don't buy elite armor before attempting it.

Just get max EotN armor. You should have had the option to get some at Boreal Station, iirc.

Wouldn't the mods on it be more beneficial, though?
I don't think its possible to get to Irontoe before 5 minutes are up. Most runs average around 7-8 minutes, so Bezerkers and Rampagers it is. :)
& will do. I'll just get the max armor from Boreal Station first. The thought of failing didn't really occur to me until now, lol.

Toss a vamp mod on your brass knuckles, that gives you the best output. But if you're afraid of lag death, 10% adren works, too...however, finding someone selling a furious dagger tang is near impossible.
Armor isn't taken into account when you're attacked by an enemy except for attack skills. You can quite easily get to R3 surv without max armor, but it couldn't hurt. After all, if your health drops to 0, you don't die, you just get KD'd and have to spam 8 to get back up.

Because you're damage comes from the attack skills, not auto attacking (except for those -1s). The damage is a pre-determined amount. Also they aren't all Warriors, a lot of them are Rangers too.

There is no reason why you shouldn't have 9 points or more to put into Dagger Mastery for Thunderfist's Knuckles. Your attribute points mean nothing in this dungeon except for those which would effect the weapon. So simply change your second profession to assassin and put the points in.
I have found the best inscript for the knuckles is Brawn Over Brains, since the -5 energy will not effect your energy level in this dungeon either, but the +15% damage will make a difference. A 15^50 would work too but is conditional upon your level of health. Since they are so common, there is no reason not to customize them for the extra 20% either.
I used Kilroy to farm exp to get my storage toons up to level 20 just in case I wanted to use them later on, and I saw no large differences (if any at all) between different professions as far as max armor goes towards a difference in surviving. I recommend both hitting your 8 key and clicking on it in your skillbar with your mouse at the same time for a quicker get up. Any scroll with a 10 minute effect will be good as you pointed out, most runs are 7-8 minutes. I got quite a few of them dropped in the dungeon itself, so you shouldn't run out any time soon
